Pricing

There are many factors that go into pricing events. Prices on this page are not a guarantee but a guide. The purpose is to save both of us time to see if my pricing is in the ballpark with your budget, but to get a final price you'll need to contact us with the details of your event.

Base Price: $475 for a 4-hour event in Mecklenburg County NC or York County SC

Additional time: $65 per hour

Second sound system: $150 (for example, if we do a wedding ceremony and the reception that are both at the same venue but in different spaces)

Travel cost outside of the Charlotte area: Varies depending on the location

Premium for holidays and holiday weekends: 50-100%, depending on the day

Included in the price: Sound equipment, lights, pre-event meeting or conference call, Master of Ceremonies, set-up, take-down, handheld wireless microphone

Payment terms: $150 non-refundable deposit with signed contract to lock in the date, balance due 14 days prior to the event.

Discounts: May be available during times of the year with lower demand (typically January through March) or for non-profits, charitable events, venues we play often, or events that would result in significant publicity for our business.

Pricing philosophy:

1. Our goal is to provide the best value in the Charlotte area at a fair price. We use great equipment and have years of experience. We work with you on planning your event and give you personalized service. We work hard to make your event the best it can be and also to make it as stress-free as possible.

2. We will be price competitive but not compete exclusively on price. Because we provide a high level of customer service and use the highest quality sound equipment, we probably will not be the lowest price DJ service in the market. You'll send a lot of money on your event and it's probably once in a lifetime, so make sure that you're getting the best value possible, not just the cheapest price.

3. We will not charge you more even if we can. We keep our operating costs low so we can charge a fair price. We are truly mobile and do not pay rent for a storefront or an office, which drives our costs up and will not make your event any better. We are very selective with our advertising, which is almost exclusively online. We put our money in investments that help make your event the best it can be, not costs on things  that will be here today and gone tomorrow.
