My husband Philip and I have only great things to say about Steve. From before our actual wedding Steve was so helpful, from selecting our music to setting everything up. Our ceremony was outside and the reception indoors. Steve handled the transition from the ceremony to reception beautifully and professionally. The reception was amazing and Steve knew the right music to play. He adjusted everything to our guests . The whole evening was fun. Many of our guests complimented us on our choice for a DJ. Everyone from the young children to great grandmothers had an outstanding evening. Steve was wonderful at blending the music to dinner or while we did our toasting. His pleasant personality made our wedding that much more memorable. As we look at our video, or pictures we can see the wonderful evening that not only did we share, but also our guests were able to share. Wonderland DJ was exceptional. We had our wedding ceremony and reception at the same place but in two separate rooms. Steve and his group did both the ceremony in one room and then the reception in the other. After the wedding ceremony they broke down the equipment used for that and put everything together in the other room while my new bride and I took pictures with the wedding party. He even met with our event coordinator prior to the wedding and got all the timing down. We didn’t have to tell them anything (the less stress the better). By timing I mean the ceremony, the cake cutting, the speeches, and of course the dancing. Steve and his group went above and beyond to make our wedding a day we will never forget. We used Wonderland DJ for our wedding day DJ and Wonderland Strings for the string duo during the ceremony. We could not be more pleased with their professionalism, their availability for meetings and random phone calls or emails, and their flexibility (not to mention the great price). As the bride, I don't remember much about walking down the aisle except for when the music started that signaled me to start the walk. I remember thinking how wonderful it sounded and how surprised I was that I could hear it so well since my walk was not short (outdoor wedding). Steve had happily wired the ladies with Wonderland Strings so that they could be heard over 160 guests in an outdoor venue, he also mic'ed the officiant and the reader so they could be heard. The ladies continued playing beautifully for an entire hour after the ceremony for the cocktail hour. Wonderland DJ was fantastic, he helped keep us on schedule but wasn't pushy, he played a great mix of music and made sure to leave out any of the things we said no to and highlighted the things we requested. Steve helped us remember the things we had wanted to do but forgot about in the excitement of things. Not only was Steve great during the wedding, but he arrived super early to the venue to make sure things were set up the way we wanted them. He also sent us a copy of the "gameplan" we came up with at a meeting with him and the strings coordinator. He turned what seemed like random brainstorming into an easy to follow schedule. They went above and beyond to make our day turn out wonderfully and didn't surprise us with extra charges or contingencies along the way. Wonderland DJ and the Wonderland Strings will definitely be my go to DJ/Instrumental source for any events from here on out.--- Katherine Pedraza Dickerson, August 2010

We were very happy with Steve at Wonderland DJ. I really liked the how professional that he was. He was very knowledgeable and knew the proper etiquette with how the reception should go. Also, he worked great with all the last minute changes and requests by my guests. He did a great job working with our schedules to meet and work out the details of the reception. Steve did a fantastic job as our DJ at the PMA/DO Formal! He knew exactly what music to play to get everyone out on the dance floor and keep us there! He set up lighting that really set the mood for a great evening, kept everyone dancing all night, and fulfilled all our requests! We would first like to say Thanks to Steve for the great job he did at the wedding and reception. We met several weeks in advance and got all of our ideas out on the table and things we wanted and didn’t want. Then we met about a week before and finalized everything. The day of was great, everything went as planned and was perfect. Steve will work with you in anyway and will play what you and nothing else if that is what you want. He also has done this long enough to know what most people like and don’t like and is very knowledgeable and willing to work with you.
